The Network Control Centre (NCC)
This is the management centre for all of the PowerTel’s
voice, data and internet services operating on PowerTel’s
communications network. It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week, 365 days of the year.
The NCC is manned by experienced telecommunications engineers
who proactively identify, investigate and resolve service
related issues on the PowerTel network.

Customer Operations
Our Customer Operations group has a single focus - customer service. They ensure that our customers are continuously looked after. This means providing ongoing assistance to customers from the time that the service is ordered with PowerTel to the time the service is delivered, and support after that - for issues that customers may have at any time on any PowerTel service.
The success of this team lies in its structure. We split the team into Service Delivery, Billing and Customer Support because we recognise that our customers need to interact with us at different times in the service process:
- The Service Delivery team manages all customer orders. From acceptance of the service order to design and implementation of the new service, to modifications and terminations of active services;
- Our Billing team ensures that the services delivered are monitored and billed correctly at month end, and
- The Customer Support team assists with all customer enquiries that arise after the service has been delivered.
These specialties combined allow PowerTel to expertly manage the requirements and expectations of customers in all phases of service.
